4/6. 3⃣To help TC members make progress the Co-Chairs will release a set of papers that attempt to capture areas of consensus and, where divergences remain, articulate the options that have been identified through the TC’s deliberations to date.

3/6. 2⃣In their scenario note for #TC4 , the TC Co-Chairs (Richard Sherman and Outi Honkatukia), have identified 13 key issues on which positions remain far apart.

2/6. Some useful things to note:

1⃣ #TC4 will see TC members trying to find agreement on the recommendations that they will send to #COP28 for the operationalisation of the #LossAndDamage Fund. This means they will be negotiating the text of the recommendations.

1/6.⚠️USEFUL INFO: The fourth ( #TC4 ) and final meeting of the Transitional Committee (TC) of the #LossAndDamage Fund agreed at #COP27 will take place next week from the 17-20th of October in Aswan, Egypt 🇪🇬. 🧵
