It’s Leopard Day today! Good news is that ⁦Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB)⁩ was recently awarded ⁦WWF-Pakistan⁩ scientific committee grant to raise awareness about leopards in villages living in MHNP to avoid conflict. Plus IWMB’s dedicated volunteer Asad Khan has donated 11 camera traps!

We are getting many inquiries regarding our Rescue Centre in old zoo (parents want to bring kids). While we are fixing up cages & preparing permanent space to house bears, visitors can join guided tours held every Sat from farmers market (9 am to 1 pm only) at IWMB’s Dino office

Good news: camera traps installed inside Margallah Hills National Park have captured latest video of common leopard on patrol! Experts say perhaps MHNP is only place in Pak where you can see leopards roaming without any fear during day, all thanks to Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) protection!
