A Common Whitethroat near Bramfield. I thought this was a female until it started singing, it was browner than most males I’ve seen. ⁦Herts Bird News⁩ ⁦Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust

My first time at a Bird of Prey Centre today. These birds are simply works of art. After years of seeing them wild at a distance, it was mesmerising.

A long way off, but a Yellow Wagtail is back on a track near Bramfield. Hopefully they’ll breed this year, as none stayed last year due to the hedgerow being butchered and no suitable crop fields. ⁦Herts Bird News⁩ ⁦Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust

Another pair of Firecrests found today near ⁦Panshanger⁩ not far from one of main roads. That’s at least two pairs, about a mile apart. Great news! ⁦Herts Bird News⁩ ⁦Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust
