Kindergarten to fifth-grade students in the Socorro Independent School District (SISD) competed at the 7th annual District Math Bee Saturday, March 23 at Eastlake High School.

The Math Bee competition consists of several rounds. To advance to the next round, students must use mental math and number sense strategies to correctly solve three facts. The student with the highest number of correct answers from each grade level will be declared the winner!

Mathematicians make a bee-line 🐝 to the SISD 7th annual District Math Bee today at Eastlake High School! The Math Bee is a math fluency and number sense competition for K-5 students to promote numeracy and build a positive math community.
