The scale of abuse-related suicides shows the devastating impact of abuse on victims' mental health.

Alongside improvements in the mental health support available to victims, there is a need for a step change in the sentencing framework.

'I represent Allah and you represent Satan' says the Taliban while defending stoning women to death. Shame on all the diplomats and 'international community' who have enabled them in men only meetings. Feminist Dissent

There is a strong moral argument against denying protection to victim-survivors with NRPF.

Our model resources present a robust financial case to complement this moral argument.

Join us online on 24 Apr as we launch these resources.

Yet again, the feminists called this and they called it right.

‘Where are those who go berserk about the ethics of genetic engineering yet seem not to worry about major, irreversible surgery on healthy bodies?’

If society wasn't so culturally indifferent and detached from actually listening to women's voices, this might never have happened.

FYI - it wasn't men or c'lebs that called this first - it was feminists.

That the suspect in murder of Kulsuma Akter was on bail for allegedly assaulting and threatening to kill her is yet more evidence that women are routinely failed by those charged w/protecting them.

Prosecutors objected to his release and were ignored ⬇️ theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/a…

Our hearts are with Kulsuma Akter's loved ones.

We are outraged that the accused was granted bail despite having assaulted and threatened to kill her. Her homicide is another example of women being let down due to systemic failure to treat MVAWG with the seriousness it deserves.

A mum who struggled to afford period pads has helped close to 20,000 women & girls by providing free menstrual products through her charity Flow Happy. She hopes to help end period poverty as 1 in 10 girls in the UK can’t afford these basic necessities 👏🏾👏🏾londonnewsonline.co.uk/news/mum-suppo…

The Roma community has historically been subject to persecution and systemic injustice. Today, on International Roma Day, we celebrate their fortitude and urge an end to discrimination against Romani people and all ethnic minorities anywhere in the world.

The over 60% increase in reports of honour-based abuse in two years is concerning.

We know from experience that HBA is routinely missed or dismissed by agencies. There is an urgent need for HBA to be explicitly recognised in the sentencing framework. 1/2

5 years ago today, the Sudanese people marched in the hundreds of thousands to the military HQ in Khartoum & began the sit-in that led to the overthrow of the Bashir regime. Despite the tragedy of war today, the aspirations for a free, democratic remain strong.

'Nobody in history has ever had a right to return' Maureen Lipman isn't naive. She's a deplorable & detestable bigot against Palestinians. State of Israel was founded on the ideology Jews had 'right to return' to land not theirs because of obscure claim after thousands of years.…
