The SC Highway Patrol held its annual Fallen Trooper Service of Remembrance today, during which family and friends of the 51 patrolmen and troopers who lost their lives in the line of duty gathered to honor the sacrifice their loved ones made.

SCHP Colonel Williamson and Richland County Sheriff's Dept. Sheriff Lott battled it out in fundraising for Saturday’s Pucker Up for Penelope fundraiser. The winners snagged the grand prize of smooching Penelope the pig!

The pair raised more than $3,000 to benefit Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) SC!
