It sounds like the core problem more than anything else is that inherited widget is too high friction?

Signals isn't a problem in and of themself, creating and holding state in a non global way is too hard unless your reactivity package also does that for you?

I like the animation in the button that slides the old icon out and the new one in.

Kinda crazy that I can have this exact UI in react-native, swiftUI, Jetpack compose, and Flutter.

My PR for a few Flutter packages including shared_preferences with a bump of min iOS implementation version to include privacy manifest is merged.
Hope that now more apps will get Apple's required privacy manifests faster.
