We could be accused of being a bit selfish with our social media accounts – preferring only to share and celebrate all things Harris Tweed. However, there are a few causes that are very close to our hearts and align with our island values, which we believe are worth sharing.

Every day it seems another window closes. I wake up thinking of a brilliant Afghan friend — her life and her daughters. It is vital now that any organisation that can avoid this being normalised and offer some support does so. Imagine this was your nightmare changed world.

Feeling virtuous. Woke early - made coffee, cleared kitchen, washing then went out into the lovely morning and quiet hills. Utter peace. Counting my blessings, as my grandma put it. Sharing this by peaklass with friends and sending love to those dealing with hard times. 🍃

This beautiful book arrived today and I’ve spent a long time reading its meditative prose and enjoying the photography of places I know so well. But even if you are an occasional visitor to Peak District National Park this is a treasure and a book I think many will return to often. Bravo. 🍃
