Members of the Scots Guards marching in the King’s Birthday Parade in London today. 242 military working horses, 250 military musicians, 40 pipers and drummers, and more than a thousand dual role soldiers of the British Army’s Household Division took part in Trooping the Colour.

Today Number 9 Company @Irish_Guards trooped the King’s Colour (Regimental flag) to mark His Majesty’s official birthday. The majority of those on parade were aged 18 to 25: recent recruits who are trained for both active service and ceremonial events.
