Through the Sanitary Pads Initiative by National Government Affirmative Action Fund and EduMinKenya, Hon Hon Canon Naomi Waqo, CBS , today launched the distribution of sanitary towels to 14,252 primary school girls in Marsabit County.

The government has released Sh1.5 billion for affirmative action groups, grants & schools bursaries for learners from needy & vulnerable households in all 47 counties as per the mandate of National Government Affirmative Action Fund. The funds will cover the third and fourth quarter of the 23/24 Financial Year.
