This is a worrying sign of the times. Once a venue closes down, that's it. No music, whatever the genre, in that space again. If you value live music then venues must survive. They are an essential part of the ecosystem that brings allows music to flourish.

Another must see gig: The Virginmarys play Parish on 10 August. I know it's not in Sheffield; but don't panic, Huddersfield is still in Yorkshire.
