#OnThisDay in 1996, #DefLeppard released 'Slang', the title track from their 6th studio album, as it's first single in the UK (North America got Work It Out). It peaked at #17 on the UK singles chart. #90s #ClassicRock

#OnThisDay in 1983, Fastway released their self titled debut album. Formed by Motorhead guitarist 'Fast' Eddie Clarke and UFO bassist Pete Way (hence the name Fastway), Way left the band before the album was recorded. An all time classic, it peaked at #31 on the Billboard charts

#OnThisDay in 1985, Bon Jovi released their 2nd album '7800 Fahrenheit' featuring singles Only Lonely and In and Out of Love. It peaked at #37 on the Billboard album chart and is certified platinum in the US. Although it is a fan favorite, the band largely disowns it #80sMetal
