Anyone else notice the lack of Tory branding on their posts and campaign materials on here? Even from their own account. Bizarre but not surprising that even they know that their brand is toxic.

Watching the Tories responsible for rendering the Tories (almost certainly) unelectable trying to distance themselves from the party they have reshaped in their own ridiculous image is quite the spectator sport.

Your mortgage had to go up to DOUBLE HSBC’s profit.
Your petrol had to go up to QUADRUPLE Shell’s profit.
Your gas had to go up to x10 British Gas' profit.

Brexit Britain working to bankrupt you.

Right, people who are saying Labour can’t find the money to improve services like the NHS. Ending austerity after 14 years would be a start! Where we are now is not the baseline, we’ve just been held down for so long it’s started to feel normal!!

It feels like England score a lot of their goals via pens and free kicks. Not sure if that’s right but it feels like we rarely score decent goals from open play

I accept I’m biased but can anyone explain to me why Mainoo is in the England squad over Miley, who has played more games and has better stats? Both obviously good players without question.

There was some big news this week which should have been top of the news agenda - the fact that it wasn’t and the story that dominated the public space instead tells a worrying story about the priorities of many in this country 🧵

More Tory MPs have spoken up about how Nike have done a fashion thing, than about the child poverty data which shows a growing number of children in the country they rule not having enough to eat. Wobble your heads.

It’s sad how this country is so quick to reveal itself in the worst possible ways at the tiniest opportunity.

Labour should come out and say that they can’t share their plans in full until an election is called because the Tories will steal and bastardise their policies to troll them and make life difficult when they move into no. 10. E.g. non-doms.

The way the Tories jump on or ignore every report on the economy (depending on whether it suits them) is the political equivalent of living pay check to pay check. They say they have a long term plan but they have nothing of the sort.

Every single Tory Budget and fiscal statement in the last decade has promised higher wages, higher skills or higher growth.

None of them have delivered it.

It's time for change.

The Commons drew stumps today before 4. The government has no legislative agenda. It’s bereft of ideas. It’s run out of steam. It’s time for a general election.
