Yesterday in Monmouthshire / Sir Fynwy full council we reflected on the two years since the last election and for me the best bit has been working with my fantastic ward colleague Jayne McKenna in Mitchel Troy and Trellech

Vaughan Gething had ample opportunities to adopt a recall system for the public to recall rule-breaking Senedd Members, but opposed it at every step.

I'm glad he now says he wants to see it happen before the next election. But it clearly could have been in place already!

The JCB Pothole Pro is a fantastic piece of kit. Cllr Tony Kear MCC arranged a two-day trial of it in Monmouthshire but unfortunately it doesn’t look like the administration is taking it forward
