Why did every member of the Democrat leadership team pledge to save Mike Johnson from the Motion to Vacate?

For my Republican colleagues claiming that “the election is 6 months away, we can’t replace our Democrat controlled Speaker now, we can only focus on the election.”

If that’s the case then what can you do?

Why claim you can do anything at all?

Why should we even be in session?

Mike Johnson responded to FBI corruption by giving them a new HQ, to Biden lawfare by fully funding DOJ, to border insanity by spending billions on migration assistance, to Hamas’s attack on Israel by giving them a $9 billion earmark, and to college communism by enacting speech…

Yeah... At least it wasn’t followed up by passing a $95BB foreign aid bill with more Democrats than Republicans that is funding $5BB for a refugee program that would now let Biden import tens of thousands from… uh… Gaza… I mean, that would be crazy…

.Speaker Mike Johnson, Your omnibus bill funds this. Why are you acting like you oppose it ?

All you had to do was insert one sentence prohibiting Biden from spending money for these flights.

Instead you suspended the rules so we couldn’t even offer amendments to stop this.
