In 2005, LVMPD Officer Don Albietz was killed by a hit & run driver while bike riding in Red Rock Canyon. That tragedy spurred a years-long fight for safer conditions.
 
Today, I was proud to secure $1 million for the Red Rock Legacy Trail & to make public lands safer for all.

Growing up, I watched my parents stretch every dollar they had to put food on the table.

Today, I’m fighting in Congress to give every southern Nevadan the opportunities and resources they need to support a family of their own.

Investing in our local economy means investing in the people who make it run.

That’s why I was so proud to secure $800,000 in workforce development investments to make sure southern Nevadans are trained and ready to work in high-demand, good-paying jobs.

From restaurants to wrestling gyms, the small businesses being recognized at SBA_Nevada’s annual awards luncheon are the life of our local economy.
