On this day in 1960, the FDA approved the first birth control pill. 64 years later, MAGA Republicans want to take us back in time.

Congressional Democrats will always support a woman’s right to make her own reproductive care decisions.

.President Biden has made it clear that invading Rafah was a red line Netanyahu should not cross.

I applaud the President for underscoring where the U.S. stands and support his efforts to secure a ceasefire, facilitate a return of the hostages, and establish a two-state solution.

On May 8, 1966, shortly after the Voting Rights Act of 1965 was signed, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. visited Kingstree, South Carolina.

He spoke of a better day and urged us to “march on the ballot boxes.”

58 years later his words still ring true. Our vote is our power.

Make no mistake: the rhetoric we hear from Trump is the same rhetoric we heard after Reconstruction and during Jim Crow.

On we reflect on the 6 million Jews and millions of others who were systematically killed by Nazis during the holocaust.

We'll never forget the lives that were lost and the bravery of survivors. May we recommit to ensuring such atrocities never happen
