I’ve been reading Tris Dixon’s absolute gem of a book on Matthew Saad Muhammad throughout my trip to Philly. I sat by Matt’s grave at Ivy Hill Cemetery this morning and read the last chapter. Fittingly it’s 45 years today since his epic rematch win over Marvin Johnson. RIP Champ
