From Feb 2024, pain-inducing techniques prohibited as a form of restraint in child prisons. But MoJ refused to provide brief descriptions of techniques authorised outside of restraint.

Without this, effective child protection impossible. Request for internal review submitted.

The privatisation of the care sector is out of control. As I say, 3 weeks in “care” (i.e. an unregulated hostel costing up to £7k pw) should NOT equate to 3 years at university.
