Some actual good news for a change!

What Arizonans are waking up to this morning.

I won’t let Kari Lake distort the record.

She called this law a “great law” - even though it will ban nearly all abortions, including in cases of rape or incest.

This is Kari Lake the day Roe was overturned and this is Ruben Gallego today.

The choice could not be more clear.

Kari Lake celebrated Roe v. Wade being overturned and called Arizona’s territorial era law that would outlaw abortion without exceptions for rape or incest a “great law”.

Make no mistake: Arizonans will reject Lake’s dangerous anti-reproductive freedom agenda at the ballot box.

I am sorry to the women of Arizona, this fight isn’t over.

I will fight like hell to give you your freedoms back.

What’s going on in Arizona should be highly illustrative: Republicans in the state previously passed a “trigger” law in case Roe got overturned, to put in a 15-week abortion ban.

Then once they got Dobbs, Republican officials/judges threw that out, made *all* abortion illegal.
