Thrilled that at Capitol Corridor Board we unanimously approved business plan that restores pre-pandemic service!

Currently there are 24 weekday Sacramento-Oakland trains. Next year there will be 30.

Increasing service will make riding more convenient and grow ridership.

On the Capitol Corridor Board Mtg, Director Rebecca Saltzman cautions against raising fares moving ahead in the business plan. Says we need to make train competitive with driving-- especially on short trips. Staff says it's early days on studying fares, not committing to raising

Got to ride the last Legacy BART train from MacArthur to Bayfair! Was able to snag a magnet from Rebecca Saltzman too!

When I worked in Contra Costa I felt like Susie 🚴🏾‍♀️ and I spent have our life on the Pittsburg/BayPoint train..very nostalgic to sit in the green (hot) seats.

Had a wonderful time at the celebration of the last rides of BART’s legacy fleet!

Such a mixture of joy and sadness, saying goodbye to trains I’ve been riding for the 25 years I’ve lived in the East Bay.

Loved reconnecting with friends and meeting so many BART enthusiasts!

Amazing! And such a joyous celebration today.

On our walk to school this morning my 4 year old daughter said to a driver who she wasn’t sure was stopping for us to cross the street, “Silly driver, don’t forget we’re humans.”
