Saturday highlights from RSPB Titchwell Marsh included Black Redstart, Short-eared Owl, Spoonbill and Bearded Tit. One of our regular breeding birds found around the reserve is the colourful Linnet.

Saw some lateral thinking and clever management from ⁦RSPB England⁩ today. Flooding out an uninspiring reedbed to kill the reed, then allowing natural processes to provide something a little more heterogenous. Mother Nature doing the heavy lifting.

Saturday sightings from a bright and blustery RSPB Titchwell Marsh included Little Gull, Spoonbill, a very late Pink-footed Goose and plenty of Avocets.

A breezy day RSPB Titchwell Marsh , a small passage of Swallows and House Martins early morning. Spoonbill, Ruff, Common Sandpiper all seen. Whilst the reedbed starts to come alive with singing warblers and Bearded Tit activity.
