Our implementing partner UYAHF has today convened the Youth Advisory Group for a reflection meeting of the first quarter.

This is a platform for the YAG to give status of their work in the districts, identify areas where they can be supported and plan for the next quarter.

Today we shine light on KITUNZI YAHUDU a journalist with @DailMonitor who was recognized in the 2023 MenEngage Africa Khopotso Bodibo media award.

Yahudu trained in Gender Transformative Approach training aimed to enhance journalist’s capacity in effective reporting on SRHR issues.

We are in Isingiro district where we are conducting trainings on Gender Transformative Approach(GTA) and Meaningful and Inclusive Youth Participation (MIYP) for our partner CBOs and CSOs.

Every girl deserves to grow up free from the shadow of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). The health risks, from immediate pain to long-term complications, are profound.
