Last night saw a significant period of #CodeBlack , with multiple emergent calls delayed.

Essex-Windsor EMS were down-staffed ambulances (off the road with no one to fill). This is NOT simply a hospital issue. Multiple Chatham-Kent EMS ambulances had to respond, depleting our neighbours.

An 11-year-old without vital signs needed a #paramedic ; none were available.

She was pronounced dead after being transported to hospital.
