Confirmed Kenyan Army Chief of Defence Forces Gen Francis Ogolla was on board army helicopter that crushed in West Pokot.

Unclear whether he survived the crash.

Some reports suggest he is badly injured, airlifted to Nairobi. Others say he is dead.
