David Marler Please remember the parents in this are victims too. The pain and shock of knowing your child has taken multiple lives is a an awful reality they now face. Their pain & shock is palpable. I have strong feelings about him, but empathy for his parents.

A person may think that because they got away with something in a certain jurisdiction that they might be able to get away with something similar in Queensland. Such a person should reflect.

In this case, there is to be no publishing by the media of the complainant's phone records or any court documents relating to the complainant without consent of the court. Any whiff of predujuce will not be tolerated by Queenslanders. Let the Qld judiciary judge the matter.

The replication of the omnishambles that has occurred in another jurisdiction on another case will not be tolerated by the Queensland people or the Queensland judiciary. Everything will be conducted appropriately in this case set for 17 June.

David Marler His barrister might be having second thoughts now that what little money Lehrmann has will soon be all gone for paying court cost for running back for his hat.

Justice Lee has described #Lerhmann as a 'Walter Mitty' type character who has given false evidence about a 'littany' of matters.

#Lehrmann has also been found by the judge to have made false representations about supplying confidential material to Channel Seven in breach of his undertakings to the ACT court in his criminal trial, which collapsed due to juror misconduct.

Omnishambles first used in BBC political satire The Thick of It in 2009. It refers to a situation seen as shambolic from all possible perspectives. In 2012 'omnishambles' was Oxford English Dictionary Word of the Year and now Justice Lee has popularised it via #Lehrmann trial.
