Bagwa Nicholas Engineer Faisal It’s this and the MOU with the hospital and the insurance companies never tell their clients these things btw that their money is limited and you dare tell an insurance guy he has to pay with his money you can even get fired 😂😂

Engineer Faisal Insurance coz use the trick of bringing the noz to the hospital as an excuse for reduced prices on services offered to their clients. take an example, insurance is billed 30k for consultation at nerves and bones well as cash people pay 100. Of course we can get the same services

Engineer Faisal It is highly dependent on the insurance company you subscribe to and the conditions and limitations it puts for its patients. Insurances like B.O.U cover almost any medication or any procedure....most basic insurance scheme dictate a cap u can spend thus Dr's have no choice.

Let me go buy lozenges on my own money. I will have a chat with my health insurance company about what I went through this week.

I need to know whether it's the hospitals dealing my money or the insurance company

I’m starting to notice that when you pay with insurance, these hospitals give u some very cheap drugs but when u pay with cash, that’s when they pull out the GSK/ UK drugs

Is it a thing thing hospitals do because they don’t want to give away their expensive drugs on credit? 🤔

It's because this the money comes in late and on top of the company settling for a low budget for every employee, so they give you what is within your budget. It's a trend for most companies, and if your bill exceeds a given figure you have to pay the balance.

So for better

Engineer Faisal Actually even their services, reception and customer care changes when you're on insurance. They make you feel as if the service is for free

Engineer Faisal On this, at least I can testify to have gotten the best brands of drugs from St. Francis Hospital Nsambya whether by cash or insurance.

On tests, the drs have always ordered relevant tests regardless of mode of payment.

I dont know about others.

Engineer Faisal because Insurance companies negotiate for the lowest possible prices on almost all drugs which calls for cheaper brands😅 Also most companies have a daily limit more so with out patients, so hospitals offer the cheaper brands to stay with in that limit.

Engineer Faisal Everytime I buy products like these I am amazed at how much garbage we allow into the country. And also wonder what UNBS helps us with.
