I am a supporter of righteous indignation and protest.

Pay attention to what protests the police are violently interrupting and which ones they let withstand with minimal interaction and harm.

Now pay attention to those who often organize the ones that are being violently interrupted.

Last night, a few of my #SummerHouseMV folks went to the WILLOW album release party for #empathogen . Talk about a talent and an album! So creative, beautiful vocals, amazing instruments. 😮‍💨 10/10!

Here’s what I know for sure: not everyone can do reality tv.

Most people cannot.

Talk about an experience a few percentage of people will ever be able to understand.

These members, I swear.

But no bill being passed on Islamophobia and racism happening to Palestinian people.

The silence is so loud.

I guess the right to organize doesn’t apply to people organizing to protect marginalized communities.

The irony of the same “freedom of expression” and “right to peaceably assemble” is the same consequence that gets you arrested all because you’re supporting a free Palestine. Many of the same ones that were screaming months ago are now silent and I’ll always remember that.
