Great to see members of HMS Vivid Royal Naval Reserve and regular members of the Royal Navy and British Army 🇬🇧 as well as veterans alongside our Sea Cadets cadets and volunteers in Plymouth today for #ArmedForcesWeek. We are proud to support those who serve and have served.

🏊 HANDS TO BATHE 🏊 Earlier this week members of the ships had a chance to cool off from the heat with a dip in the water in true naval tradition!

This is what Sea Cadets is all about. Royal Navy Cadet Forces across the country make sure our young people safely learn key nautical skills. As a unit we’re thrilled to be able to offer rowing, paddlesports, sailing and power boating to our ships company.

We think leaving on a Sea Cadets T500 might be one of the coolest ways to leave a draft 🚣 BZ!

This weekend AC Bella and OC Jake are representing the unit and Devon District Sea Cadets at the South West Area Sea Cadets Area Sailing Regatta. The whole unit stands behind them and we look forward to hearing the results tomorrow (Sunday)!

Tonight we held a unit BBQ for all our ships company and their families. incredible weather with good scran and great company. It was also great to see cadets in banyan rig! Events like this help build unit cohesion and moral. Thank you all who attended!

This evening we were proud to support the RNA Plymouth Branch’s annual dinner and dance at the WO and SRs mess at HMS Drake. Cadets acted as a lining party for the VIP guests at the mess. We’re grateful for the continued support of the RNA Plymouth Branch’s. BZ to the cadets!

Today saw presentations and goodbyes. This was Able Cadet Toby’s final parade night. He was presented with a valedictory certificate and challenge coin. We him all the best. ACs Bella & Lewis were presented with their 3rd good conduct stripes and OC Harvey with his 2nd. BZ all!

The unit has a new fundraising initiative of marching the distance between HMNB Devonport and HMNB Portsmouth! Cadets will be marching between them the distance of 165 miles! Can you support them? Please share this wide! justgiving.com/crowdfunding/d…
