As Columbia University students take over Hamilton Hall, renaming it Hind's Hall in honor of 5-year-old Hind Rajab, killed by Israeli forces in January, Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman spoke to protesters calling for the university to divest from Israel.

Police were quite literally throwing tables and pushing students down the stairs until one passed out. Inviting the NYPD onto campus at Columbia University University has both destroyed more property and endangered more people than the original occupation of the building.
