I’m voting for Green candidate Carne Ross in Islington South.

He’s a former diplomat who resigned over the Iraq war.

He’s a man of principle, experience and wisdom.

He backs the transformative policies Britain needs. And he’s never legitimised war crimes.

It looks like universities in Britain really have learned nothing from the repressive approach in the United States 👇

Apparently people supporting and caring for an incredibly kind man, who has devoted his entire life to serving others, and especially his constituents, is ‘news’.

Who would have thought a 'House of Lords' might try to block the leaseholder bill, which tackles some of Britain's feudal property relations?

Here's how the ICJ process reveals the inherent contradictions and hypocrisies of the (current) UN.

1. The ICJ – the world's highest court – has issued an order that Israel must cease its assault on Rafah.

2. The ICJ does not have enforcement power. The security council has

The ICJ has ordered Israel to immediately cease its assault on Rafah; investigators and aid must be allowed into Gaza.

Western leaders who enabled, facilitated, and excused genocide must be next to face justice.

In case anyone wonders why rigorous study of the past is important today: this is textbook historical distortion to justify contemporary violence. I, unlike the Israeli foreign minister, am a historian of al-Andalus. Imagining al-Andalus as 'radical Islam' is ahistorical hogwash.

The one *vaguely* positive thing that the Tories have done (I know, what a thing to type) is the leaseholder reform bill...which should become law today.

Just as well, given Starmer has already rolled back on abolishing leasehold within his first 100 days.

In response to Spain's recognition of Palestine, the Israeli regime has decided to enact further collective punishment against Palestinians, preventing them from accessing Spanish consular services. These are the actions of a sociopathic state.
