Our blog is uploaded for the last few days. Despite the northerly airstream migrant passerines continue to trickle through, the last of the Dee estuary PinkfootedGeese continue to depart early mornings and the odd surprise appeared. hilbrebirdobs.blogspot.com/?m=1

Lovely to be able to see Barn Owls so close to our house last night. Shame they’ve seen off the Little Owls though

My 1st House Martins of the year have just arrived at our neighbours house where they nest every year. Lovely to hear them back again. I do believe summer might at last be on its way!

A very good cause. A friends grandaughter. The news every parent & grandparent dreads to hear.

Shit video but really pleased to see this male Yellowhammer on our Kane this morning. In an area where they bred last year. Fingers crossed.

One of my favourite garden birds. We’re lucky to get Stock Doves visiting our garden every spring. This one is one of a pair ringed this evening
