One of the things that was clarified and confirmed for me recently, is that uni admins monitor all types of student and community social media. This is a) creepy, and b) concerning. But also points to the increase in surveillance under the guise of 'protection'.

I have seen uni admins claim that clearing student camps is for the students' own safety. But that completely ignores the fact that sending cops to arrest students makes them unsafe. Allowing surveillance makes them unsafe. Suspending and unhousing them makes them unsafe.

I am still in disbelief. At most, 12 tents. Police violence as a response. Resigning from a university committee.

Yet and still, free palestine. 🇵🇸🍉
