Great start to the day at #AERA2024 hearing about the brilliant work on concepts of teacher and middle leadership, the associated advocacy and negotiation, and the complexities of it around the globe.

Made it to #AERA2024 and already caught up with Nicola Sum(PhD, NPQH), bumped into Management in Education colleague, and Kirsty Woods - and also met two colleagues from other parts of the world doing similar work. Great start 👏🏻

Looking forward to hosting Melanie Ehren from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam at EPL EdUHK as part of the Faculty of Education and Human Development, EdUHK targeted research exchange scheme in May.

During Melanie’s time here, she will be giving a talk open to all.

Been seeing this book everywhere will in the US - bookstores, coffee shops, and on the news. Finally got a copy and started - vital work.

So much to consider, but two things stand out:

- Encourage more play in schools.
- Design and zone public space with children in mind.
