Tanzania — a country that's faced several lawsuits from environmentally disastrous mining corporations — has terminated a trade deal w/ Canada that enables lawsuits from foreign billionaires.

Last week, we demonstrated outside of the World Bank's spring meetings to demand an end to #ISDS tribunals, which allow corporations to sue governments for protecting workers, indigenous communities, and the planet.
