Today is the anniversary of John B. Knebels’s death, a PA Turnpike employee who passed away in the line of duty. A husband and father from Lansdale, he died on April 9, 1964, at the age of 60, while performing his duties as a PA Turnpike Maintenance Worker in District 4.

The Solar Eclipse is TODAY. All unattended vehicles on the #PaTurnpike I-76 between the Ohio State line & Breezewood Exit #161 will be removed at 8AM this morning. Do not pull over on the shoulder or in a wide area along the Pennsylvania Turnpike to view the eclipse.
