U.S. Air Force tactical air control party specialists conducted a Tactical Combat Casualty Care - Tier 2 training exercise. TCCC is for personnel who may deploy in support of combat ops that teaches how to provide life-saving techniques & provide trauma care in combat situations.

Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group Airmen participated in an Ability to Survive and Operate rodeo at Osan Air Base.

Kadena's 18th Medical Group conducted Ready Eagle, a mass casualty exercise highlighting their expertise and critical role in patient care in challenging environments.

These serve as a method for installations to prepare aircraft for aerial - or airlift - operations on short notice. Ultimately, they showcase the ability to swiftly deploy multiple aircraft to maintain airlift operations.

What's a FOD walk?

During a Foreign Object Debris walk, Airmen line up across the flightline to pick up & dispose of any trash, debris, or waste that could potentially damage aircraft.

5th Gen fighters took to the skies for integrated training, w/US F-22s & ROK F-35As engaging in air combat maneuvering. This training is a critical part of the combined efforts to maintain combat airpower & be prepared to deter, defend, & defeat any attack to the ROK/US Alliance.

Air University welcomed Gen. Hiroaki Uchikura, Koku-Jieitai (Japan Air Self-Defense Force) Chief of Staff, during the 2024 International Honor Roll event, at Maxwell Air Force Base.

May is Asian/Pacific Islander American Heritage Month. The month was chosen to commemorate the arrival of the first Japanese immigrants in the United States on May 7, 1843, and the completion of the transcontinental railroad on May 10, 1869.

Kunsan conducted the base-wide training exercise Beverly Pack 24. Wolf Pack Airmen trained while donning mission oriented protective posture gear to ensure completion of duties is seamless in a hazardous environment designed to improve contingency response capabilities.
