Official Launch of #Lango_Humanitarian_Platform by the #C4C leadership

We thank Oxfam in Uganda and Plan International Uganda for co-financing this C4C Event to reawaken the Regional Networks that will further Localization

During the launch, Dr Morris Chris, Chairman Chambers of Commerce, Lira branch, encouraged the civil society organizations to rethink, depending on funding from international bodies and begin to embrace tapping on local wealth, in paving way for localization of humanitarian aid.

As part of the midterm review of the DANIDA SP II project, we are conducting focus group discussions with sub-county budget monitors and duty bearers. Our budget monitors say the good relationship with the community & duty bearers has helped them in the advocacy process.…

On sustainability, the sub-county budget monitors in Rhino camp said they have been equipped with skills in budget advocacy and this will ensure the continuity of the project. Oxfam in Uganda Julius Mukunda - truth always counts!
