A great day for guests yesterday!
Among the myriad of migrating #Shorebirds and the noisy Collared Pratincole colony, then woods full of passage Spotted and Pied Flycatchers, the splendour of the Northern Bald Ibis (pic) colony and these gorgeous Tawny Owls!

#FlywayDrama in front of students BU Biology & Zoology Environmental & Natural Sciences @ Bangor Univ. we witnessed a Black Kite sadly ditch in the sea!
Whilst the #Levante pushes soaring #Bird #migration to the W. side of The #Straits we also found time to observe #shorebird behaviour, survey the Griffon Vulture colonies and count #Seabird passage with students Bangor University
This gorgeous Kentish #Plover zoomed into our view !
