Councillor Owen Tierney has been elected unopposed to the role of Chair of our Planning Committee. He was proposed by Councillor Kristopher Leask, with his nomination seconded by Councillor Duncan Tullock

Councillor Gwenda Shearer has been elected unopposed to Chair of our Education, Leisure and Housing Committee. She was nominated by Councillor Sandy Cowie, who described her as having a 'enviable record of achievement'. Her nomination was seconded by Councillor Mellissa Thomson

Councillor Lindsay Hall has been elected unopposed to the role of Chair of the Monitoring and Audit Committee. Proposed by Councillor Sandy Cowie, his nomination was seconded by Councillor Gillian Skuse

Councillor Kristopher Leask has been appointed to the role of Chair of our Development and Infrastructure Committee. His appointment follows a vote between Councillor Leask and incumbent Chair, Councillor David Dawson which Councillor Leask won 12 votes to 8.
