I think the number of compromised validator private keys is way higher than we know/think. Stolen hot keys are a difficult to profit from attack that magnifies with the more stolen keys you have, so the incentive is to just gather them.

How many keys are already compromised?

I am once again asking people to not leverage an L(S/R)T recursively on the flawed premise that they are one to one with eth.

Ethereum’s net issuance is at -0.2% per year, this is clearly WAY TOO HIGH and something we need to CUT URGENTLY!

Otherwise non-stakers are being diluted by… *checks notes* … a negative amount per year, that’s dangerous!

We’ll be much safer if we cut our security budget!

Friendly reminder that if eth staking pays a negative real rate, stake will turn to LSTs in DeFi and rehypothecation to eke out a real rate of return. Neither of which are good for Ethereum’s security.
