Tsunami Hazard Area signs are also placed in parks that are in the tsunami hazard area to provide evacuation information for park users. Scan the QR code to access the evacuation map or visit honolulu.gov/tsunamievac.

Have you seen the different Tsunami Hazard Area signs that have popped up around O'ahu? The signs in this graphic were installed at extreme tsunami zone (XTEZ) entrances and exits and along major roadways around O'ahu. Learn more about tsunamis at honolulu.gov/dem/tsunami.

Where is safe in a tsunami warning? O'ahu has the tsunami evacuation zone and the extreme tsunami evacuation zone. Official evacuation alerts will say which zone(s) need to evacuate. Learn more about evacuation zones and find out if you live in one at honolulu.gov/dem/tsunami.
