You can tell by the beak that these are not our usual nestlings! They are monk parakeets hailing from the Bronx, and all 4 were found on the ground in their nest, which had either fallen or been removed.

21:10 5/22 Here's a close-up of the Cahow chick a little before it fledged last night (1st screenshot). This chick seems to come from the nest R819, so the first nest in which Jeremy found a hatched chick this season.
