Today, another angel is in heaven - far, far too soon. One of our Duty Managers, who was a powerhouse in her role during the time we built McGill's Buses has been taken so very young. Craig White you are in all of our thoughts, Sarah will always be remembered with admiration

But public control is so much better. Public control of public transport will see an end to cuts? 10% of Bee network services cancelled daily. Do people realise they are in the process of being duped?

Nationalisation brings more cuts;

So this is worse than industry norms. We achieve better than this without a franchise, without partnerships and without bus priority.

I also believe that 10% of Bee journeys are cancelled

Lastly, re the YoY improvement; this period last year was at the peak of the National

An inconvenient truth. Read the article, not only is it a spot on synopsis of what’s going on with London’s franchised buses but it’s a great parallel to what happened outside London in the last 25years - instead of cycles, read unfettered car use.

Here we have another ‘magic money tree’ question. I operate buses in Glasgow and I have never had this politician write to me to complain that my bus services are dysfunctional (not behaving or operating normally) in any way.

Would he have a problem if I said that all

Bus Fare Capping - an explanation:

You go into Tesco in the morning, buy bread, milk and bacon. Later that day, you pop into Morrisons for more break and milk as you have used what you bought earlier. You get this for 25% off because you paid full price this morning. After

How Scotland's ferry fiasco became a national scandal news.sky.com/story/how-scot…

Interesting number that £400m. This is what it is expected to cost SPT per annum to franchise the bus network. Where is all this money coming from?

I have some knowledge of this via a charity but this feature is very stark. How have we managed to break almost every public institution in the UK?

And now they want to break the buses! 🤦🏼‍♂️ twitter.com/bbcnewsnight/s…

I wonder if Jim Fairlie MSP SNP thinks that 6 weeks is sufficient for bus companies to examine and respond to a report that took 9 months to compile? Clearly it is not, it is an unseemly rush to rig the outcome. I call on Fiona Hyslop to allow bus companies an appropriate amount of

I'm wondering how SPT are going to fund franchising given that it will not be coming from Scottish Govt. Do local authorities have the cash? All evidence says no given the bankruptcy warnings by council leaders.

How will SPT Franchising be funded?
