People voted for change, they didn't vote for a Labor treasurer to hand down a Liberal budget.

The Greens have killed Labor’s gas fast-track bill. 

Santos, Labor & the Liberals wanted to bypass environmental protections and First Nations voices to approve more gas in a climate crisis.

But together we fought back. 

And today we’ve won.

To all the Labor backbenchers crying crocodile tears over Labor's Future Gas Strategy I say this:

Quit your party and vote with the Greens against the gas strategy in parliament.

If you don't, you're not 'doing everything you can”. You're grandstanding.

Today the Greens tabled our dissenting report on the Government's extremely weak changes to the PRRT. Here's the TL:DR version of our recommendations:

This is the furthest thing from an internal revolt. It’s performative handwringing from Labor MPs who know their seats are at risk due to their party’s capitulation to the gas cartel. This is done only to save seats and almost certainly with the full approval of PM’s office.
