I would say the decision that Diane Abbott is to be banned from standing is unbelievable.

But, in reality, blocking the first black woman MP from standing in a constituency she has represented for decades is very very believable for Keir Starmer’s Labour Party.

Labour sat on the Forde Report for months, and now we know the investigation into Diane Abbott finished five months ago. The mantra of ‘country first, party second’ is increasingly looking suspect.

If Labour doesn’t have a hierarchy of racism, someone explain to me why Steve Reed, Barry Sherman, Neil Coyle, and Siobhan McDonagh all have the Labour Whip, but Diane Abbott doesn’t?

It's interesting the lack of public support she's had from fellow MPs who she probably once considered as friends.

🚨 NEW: Hearing that the Starmer Party are refusing to let Dianne Abbott stand. Decision comes to after Starmer had been exposed lying about the disciplinary outcome last December.

Labour lead now down to 12% with JLP after Opinium showed a 14% lead on Sunday.

Other polls are showing higher leads of 20%+ so it now moves into territory as to which ones are correct.

Remember, Labour had a 39% lead in October 22.
