The Etilaat Roz was once the most widely circulated newspaper in Kabul, but everything changed when the Taliban seized power in Afghanistan.

Our latest Guardian documentary, House No.30, Kabul follows a team of brave journalists who continue to report in exile.

At least 97 journalists have been killed since the start of the war, 92 of them Palestinian journalists killed in Israeli air strikes.

Those who remain are operating in impossible conditions.

They deserve this recognition.

They deserve protection.

They deserve our support.
