17 April 1953 this picture was published in the Liverpool Echo. Spot the future famous person in this group of boys who had come to audition for the Liverpool cathedral choir. This was the first time he had had his picture published in a newspaper. It would not be the last!

There are actually more uninterrupted rooftop performances in the Let It Be film than the Get Back Series. In Let It Be only one rooftop song has talking over it. There are also the full songs from the Apple studio performance the next day.

I think people will be pleasantly surprised when they finally get to watch the restored Let It Be. Only the first 20 minutes are from Twickenham and then there is plenty of fun footage of the Beatles jamming at Apple, the impressive studio performance on the final day & the roof.
