Souvik Bhattacharya Tathagata Neogi (He/Him/Dr) @PratikChakrab Amit Guha Rangan Datta The current canals in Kolkata, if properly maintained and regularly dredged, could have formed a very efficient communication network, and reduced the load on road transport. An example is the canals of Amsterdam.
