Even a well-trained dog may chase livestock.

A top tip to prevent a relaxing walk from becoming a sheep-worrying incident is to keep your dog close to you. If in doubt, use a lead.

If a seal’s head pops up, you’re close enough! If it has to move away from you, it uses valuable energy and could get injured.

Keep your distance and have your dog on a lead to avoid this and prevent your dog from being bitten.
